European Caterer's owner, Steven McKenney, started working and cooking in kitchens at the tender age of 12 in various positions in hotels, discos and a New England style fish house. Through high school and much of college he managed this seafood restaurant where he received his lessons in the importance of good ingredients to make good food. Being able to pick fish off the boats as they came into Boston’s once fabled fish pier was an experience that sticks with him today.
Catering in Aspen for the last seventeen years Steven brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team at European Caterers. Planning and preparing mouth watering dinners is his passion. Catering has given him the unique environment to showoff his talent for pairing flavors and masterful food presentations.
